TRANSMISSIONS BUILT FOR WATER-COOLED VEHICLES ONLY.
Our transmissions are completely rebuilt and we have 2 Automatic transmissions with used 3.73 Ring and Pinions. This special Ring and Pinion (R&P) set is not only hard-to-find but will reduce your RPM’s by 500 revolutions, thereby increasing your gas mileage (MPGs). This is especially important for customers who have more powerful Subaru, Ford and other motor conversions.
Instead of increasing tire and rim size to decrease your RPM’s which puts strain on your transmission, the R&P swap is the best modification you can do to save your transmission and increase your MPG. These R&P’s are in great condition.
Included with the trans-axle is a rebuilt torque converter. A new oil cooler is NOT included. In addition to the automatic section, the differential section is completely rebuilt with all new bearings, seals and gaskets.

A core charge is a deposit until your old part is returned and inspected. All or some of this deposit may be forfeited depending upon the condition of the core.
Total cost (without a core exchange):
$3,495.00 plus shipping
Warranty:
2 year unlimited mile warranty with the stock VW Vanagon motor.
6 month unlimited mile warranty with any motor HP upgrade or conversion.
Financing:
You may split your payments into two payments. Pay 50% deposit upfront and another 50% in 30 days or less. We will ship your transmission once we receive the second payment.
Restocking:
We charge a 10% restocking fee on all canceled orders.
Shipping:
Initial shipping costs for this item are subject to change as the order is processed. Shipping cost is “round-trip,” meaning the cost to ship the tranny to you and to get your core back for tear-down. You WILL need to contact us at info@countryhomescampers.com when you are ready to return your tranny core. NOTE: Transmissions are delivered via truck freight and CANNOT BE DELIVERED TO RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES. If the delivery destination does not have a forklift, a lift-gate will be necessary ($160 extra).
